Abstract
The cancer is a set of diseases that have in common the uncontrolled
proliferation of abnormals cells. The head cancer and neck cancer correspond to a larger
number of neoplasms with different characteristics histological. Smoking is the main risk
factor for this cancer. The oncology physiotherapy was recognized only in 2009 by Brazilian Physiotherapy Association in Oncology. Palliative care is active holistic care for individuals
of all ages with serious suffering related to health due to serious illness and especially those
who are near the end for life.
